You are not required to submit a payment with your Installment agreement request however you can make a payment with the request to bring down the financed amount for less interest accrual.

Thanks - Understood; however, If I selected an electronic payment/debit to be sent with the Installment Agreement in Turbo Tax, Do I need to mail in the payment or will IRS process the ACH for the initial payment?
