Do i need to do anything on may return since my son mistakenly submitted his return as an independent? He is a dependent on my return. He did submit form to correct this

He sent a paper form in to the IRS to correct this. He did receive a large refund because of his mistake.

Have you filed yet?  Your return will probably reject because his ssn has already been used as independent.  You will have to print and mail your return this year.  

By the wayk, Let me ask.....Did he get the full 1800 stimulus credit on his 1040 line 30?  When he amended did he have to pay it back?

Yes, I think he did get the full stimulus amount deposited to his account. How can I check with the IRS before I file the paper copy that they did receive his 1040x and are correcting his filing?
