I received letter in mail from IRS saying " under the American Rescue Plan, the IRS issued you 2021 Economic Impact Payments for $2100. So is it saying I filed wrong?

I forgot that I received my stimulus payment, in March 15, 2021. My Mom had just died and I was dealing with all of her estate issues. I forgot when I filed my taxes yesterday. Can this be fixed before the return is processed?
If you did not include the $2,100 on your return, then yes, it is incorrect. You would need to amend your return to give accurate information.
To amend, follow these steps.
If your return has been transmitted and rejected by the IRS, you can correct your tax return and re-transmit.
If your return has been transmitted and accepted by the IRS, you can amend your Federal 1040 tax return.
Amended tax returns are expected to be available February 24. See forms availability here.
You enter the amount of the third stimulus check actually received at the screen Let's double-check the amount you received.
If you qualify for a Recovery Rebate Credit, you will find it on line 30 of the Federal 1040 tax return. You may be able to view this under Tax Tools / Tools / View Tax Summary / Preview my 1040.

If you entered the wrong amount you got for the 3rd Stimulus payment and claimed the wrong remaining amount on 1040 line 30 for the Recovery rebate credit, the IRS will automatically adjust it for you and either reduce your refund or send you a bill. It will delay your return. You don't need to amend for that.
