Do I need to amend with the 1040X? I filed my taxes before I received my 1099B, however I had a gain(loss) of less than $100. Only boxes 1,2,3,5,6 were mentioned.

Yes, you will need to Amend your Tax Return to include the information reported on your Form 1099-B.

You should Amend your Tax Return using Form 1040-X once the IRS has fully processed your original Tax Return and you have received your Refund. You can click here for instructions on Amending your tax return: How to Change a Tax Return You Already Filed.  

The 2018 Form 1040-X is not available yet, but should be within the next week.

Note: You SHOULD NOT make any changes on your return in TurboTax until this form becomes available.
