Do i need to amend our taxes?

We received a corrected W-2 and the only thing that was changed was that the Retirement plan box was checked on the new one.

No, that will not change your return. You only need to amend your return if there is a change in filing status, income, dependents, credits, or deductions OR you are expecting a tax credit or refund.
