Please explain what loans your are referring to.  We cannot see your tax return or your account.  Loans are not reported on a tax return.  Interest paid on a student loan can be entered, or interest paid on a mortgage loan can be entered.  Paying a loan off is not a deductible entry--so not sure what you are asking about.

No, you do not have to amend your return.  If you have student loans it does not matter whether you've paid them off or not.  Only the amount you paid in Interest is reportable.
