Do i have to report state refund if i filed standard deductions in 2016 and now filing joint itemized return in 2017

I received state refund in 2017 for 2016 tax year, using standard filing.

for 2017, I am filing a joint return using itemized deductions. do i have to report or include the 2016 state refund when reporting for 2017??
