No, you are not required to file as married filing jointly and include your husband's income on your return. You also cannot do so without amending his return since he has already filed as married filing separately. However, there are some disadvantages to filing as married filing separately. You cannot file as "single" You can file as Married Filing Separately but, s TTkatrinaB explains tht might not be the best choice. If you file MFS you still have to identify him on your return.
It might be better to amend his return to include you on a joint return.
