direct deposit after taxes were filed

I did not realize that Federal was direct deposit only. I received my state return but can not figure out how to refile federal only and were to for direct deposit....

It's too late to change the refund choice on your federal tax return. In about 6 weeks the IRS will send you a letter asking for direct deposit information. You will then be able to provide your bank information directly to the IRS by following the instructions in the letter.
