When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

I was doing them E-file but I couldn’t because I didn’t know my agi  So I had to change it and have the check mailed to me but I’m not sure if I have  to send anything or do they just mail it.  I don’t know if I have to print them out and send with the w2’s  for them to mail my checks  please thank you for your help.

They rejected it and I had to do it again to do it by mail cause I didn’t have my last years agi

Then did you print and mail it?

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
