Did my tax go to the irs

What do you mean by "my tax"? Do you mean a tax return--a Form 1040? Or do you mean tax due that you paid? Or something else? Please clarify your question so we know what you are asking about.

If you submitted the 2019 efile it is sitting at Turbo Tax until the IRS opens on Jan 27. Then the IRS will start pulling them and processing them. So you won't get accepted until later and any refunds much later.
