Desktop shows e-file as pending still despite receiving an email indicating it was rejected

I submitted my taxes and in the desktop app it continues to show as pending (even though it's been over 48 hours). I received an email from Intuit indicating that my return was rejected but I can't seem to get the desktop to agree so I can modify and resubmit. What is the problem?

Select the online menu in the desktop return and update. If this experience persists, please visit the help article below for instructions on how to contact Customer Support.

still..........wait until tomorrow and check again....always fewer problems with such things, and safer to file in Feb
