Wrong Application. As I stated when I posted this question, I'm using WINDOWS - Business Turbo Tax.
I probably did not supply enough background information. Here's the problem restated:
On Schedule D there are three transactions listed - dates and amounts are not reverent.
TRANSACTION NUMBER 2 was posted in error and needs to be removed. How do I DELETE Transaction Number 2.
Deleting the Form would wipe out the remaining 99 Transactions that are valid.
You can follow the instructions here to delete a form in the desktop version of Turbo Tax.
Please let us know if you need further assistance. @JChrist68fl
Unfortunately, no one understands, no matter how many times I detail the question. I have 100 sales TRANSACTIONS listed in Schedule D (Windows BUSINESS). Transaction Number 13 needs to be DELETED. I can't delete the FORM (Schedule D) as that would wipe out all 99 good transactions. I can't retype transaction 100 in Transaction 13's spot and then space out transaction 100 as that will leave an error on Schedule D. There has to be a procedure to Delete a specific TRANSACTION.
Try going into the Schedule D detail and clicking Edit for the particular Investment account and you should see a list of transactions. Then, it will say Delete next to each of those transactions and you should be able to delete the transaction you don't want.
