Delay in Turbo Tax Deluxe

Waiting for updates to input 1099 G, 1099 S and 1099 R. Why the delay?

Are you using desktop software?  Have you updated your software?

Yes desktop software. Doesn't Turbo Tax update automatically?

You need to check for updates with desktop.   Go to TurboTax at the top of your screen and click on Check for Updates.

If you're on a PC, open TurboTax and go up to Online-Check for Updates. On a Mac, simply quit and reopen TurboTax. If there are any updates, you'll be prompted to download them.

If you can’t update your Windows program try doing a Manual update

The solution was to uninstall Turbo Tax and then reinstall the program. Turbo Tax was very helpful finally getting to this solution after trying other ideas.
