Daughter included in my taxes last year, this year CA is asking if she files tax return last year

My child is required to file her own tax return for 2018 because of her dividend income but was included on mine in 2017

For her state (CA) return. The question is in the state Taxes section; "did you file a California tax return last year" 

Options are to pick Yes or No. She did not file her own last year but was included in mine. 

Should we pick "No, I didn't file in California last year" or "Yes, I did file in California last year"?

You filed a return with her as a dependent, she didn't file a return, so the answer is no.
