You can’t stop it if you already filed unless for some reason the IRS rejects it. After your return is processed and your tax liability is settled you can amend your return.
Once the tax return has been filed it cannot retrieved or changed.
If the IRS rejects the tax return you can make additions or changes and e-file again.
If the IRS accepts the tax return then you will have to wait for the IRS to process the return and send the tax refund or the taxes owed have been paid. Then you will have to amend the tax return to add the W-2.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-a...
As champ @DoninGA says, once you e-file a return, you cannot take it back. However if the IRS rejects your return, then you will be able to add your W-2 or change it. Please bear in mind the IRS is not accepting returns until January 23 so you may not receive an acknowledgement for several days after that.
Once your return is accepted, you should amend to add your W-2. The amended Form 1040-X will not be available in TurboTax until on or about February 23 (check here for updates).
