If the IRS is taking too long to send your refund they will ask you to pay the fees, see step 3 under What happens if the IRS reduces my refund......

If you don't pay they will automatically debit your bank account. Then when the IRS does send your refund they won't take the fees out again And, Why you got charged,

Or do you mean when you filed you paid the Turbo Tax fees with a credit card? The fees are to prepare the return whether you efile or print and mail. And whether you have a refund or tax due.
Did you efile? Was it Accepted? Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?
You can check your efile status here,
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup
When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.
When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?
Please explain your refund was denied. Which software did you use? Did your efile get rejected or did the IRS reduce your refund?
It says it has been accepted I just haven't received it yet. I got one of the letters in the mail to verify my identity and I did that just still haven't gotten my tax return. And I didn't receive any emails regarding them charging my account or anything.
Sorry you have to keep waiting. Accepted only means they accepted it for processing. Then they approve it and send the refund. The IRS is taking a lot longer this year like 6 months or more. Especially if you had to verify your identify.
