The CPA has filed for extension for us as married filing jointly. I wiil file my own return want to change the filing status to married filing separately since I don't want to be responsible for some of my separted husband's bad tax decisions. Can I do that when I file the return on June 15, 2022?

Yes, you can file separately. If you did not make a payment with the extension, you don't have to do anything special. Just file your separate return.
If you made a payment with the joint extension, you and your husband have to agree on how to divide the payment between you. You each claim on your separate tax returns your agreed individual share of the payment. The total of the amounts that you each claim has to equal the amount that was paid with the extension.
Thank you so so much for the response. It helped tremendously. The only question is whether I shoud attach the extension form that was filed by the CPA for both of us to my return when I will file as married filing separately. Half of the estimated tax paynent was paid from the joint account. So, I can take that as my estimated tax payment and the rest will be reflected in my husband's return.
It is not necessary to attach the extension form to your tax return.
