Change from Married Filing Jointly to Married Filing Separately

I filed my taxes jointly with my husband.  I want to amend it to Married Filing Separately.  Normally this can't be done past the 4/15 tax deadline; however, since the deadline is extended until July, is it possible to amend the status?

Yes, if you amend the 2019 tax return on or before July 15, 2020 you can change your filing status from Married Filing Jointly to Married Filing Separately.
