Can you tell me if my tax data was received by the IRS?

To verify the IRS accepted your tax return, check your e-file status e-file status lookup tool. Make sure to wait at least 24 hours after e-filing your return.

Also, when you e-file you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your e-file.
