How you access your 2017 return depends on whether or not you've filed your TurboTax 2018 return yet. See the instructions in the TurboTax FAQ below. Please note that you'll have to make payment for the PLUS feature, at a minimum, in order to unlock your prior-year returns.

If you are still waiting for your federal tax refund:  You paid TurboTax to prepare and file your return. Once the IRS receives your return, getting your refund is between your and the IRS.

First, Check your e-file status here: https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp 

Then check the status of your refund here: http://www.irs.gov/Refunds (IRS "Where's My refund" WMR). How to call the IRS  https://www.irs.com/articles/call-for-refund-status
