Can you help me get my 2024 taxes started so I can file them?

It's got me started on 2022 when I need to be filing 2023 and I don't know how to start filing for the 2023 so how do I do that?

The online program is only for 2023 returns. You cannot use online for a 2022 return, so something has you confused. The current online software cannot be used for any other year---only for 2023. Only 2023 income and 2023 information can be entered into the online software. Do not try to add in anything from 2022.

You will not prepare or file a 2024 return until next year in 2025, when tax year 2024 is over.

Online is only good for 2023. Why do you think it's doing 2022? When you start 2023 it transfers in your 2022 return and asks if the info is still the same. Just keep going.
