Your only proof of payment is your bank account or credit card showing it paid.

I seem to have completed the federal but once I got to the state refund, i quit cause I cant make installment arrangements. Its seems that Turbo tax charged my bank account for the service if 19.99 does that mean my Federal was accepted?

No.  Paying the fees doesn't file the return.  You have to continue on to the very end, through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button.  Did you go that far?

Efile did not want to be accepted by forms for this yr. I have file thru you for the past 5 yrs. Why did it not accept this yr?

@dkrawford are you the same person who started this question?  If not please start your own new question.  Your issue sounds different.

 If you ONLY get SSI or  Social Security or Social Security Disability or a SSA-1099 or RRB-1099 for railroad retirement you do not have to file a return.  And there is no benefit to itemizing deductions or claiming dependents.   And you can't efile a return with zero income.

You can check your filing status by clicking this link:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/wheres-my-refund/.  If there is no information shown, you have not filed yet.  It is pretty hard to e-file your taxes and not know for sure because you have to click on a big button that says "Transmit My Returns Now".

If you need to e-file your Tax Returns, you must walk through the "File" section of TurboTax.  Click "File", which is found on the left side of your screen.  You must walk through the 3 steps and then click the button that says "Transmit My Returns Now".
