We cannot see your tax return.  What "automatically filled in"  figures are you wanting to change?  What are you trying to change?

Why did you not transfer the amended return's tax file when you started the 2022 return so the changes were there already ?    You can clear and start over if needed.

just use EDIT/UPDATE in the appropriate sections to bring your 2022 return into accordance with your 2021 return.

besides carry forward amounts, your amendment may have no effect on 2022.
