You need to explain what you are talking about. We don't know what you are doing. This is a public Internet forum, so be sure not to post any personal info here in this public community forum.
What are you trying to do with a card? Are you referring to paying TurboTax fees, paying a third party service to pay taxes due, having a tax refund deposited to a prepaid debit card, or what?
"it continues to say they can't validate....."
What is the "it" that is doing the saying?
"...when I put in the exact account and routing number that is displayed on my card."
What type of card are you referring to? I wouldn't think a debit card would display the actual underlying account and routing numbers. That would be a huge security problem if someone lost the card. Bank cards typically have a 16-digit card number which is not the underlying deposit account number for the card.
@zaster23 - if you are using a debit card, suggest going on to your online banking system to get the routing number and account number.
It would be unusual for the routing number to be on the card AND for many institutions, the debit card number is not the same as the bank account number. You need to be entering the bank ACCOUNT number, not the card number
