Can I use turbo tax to amend my 15 return if i did not originally file with turbo tax

You can use TT to prepare an amended return for a 2015 return you prepared elsewhere, but it will be a pain.  You have to purchase 2015 software and download/install it to your own computer, then re-create that 2015 return EXACTLY as it appeared when originally filed.  Then you go through the amendment process to prepare an amended 2015 return which you then print,sign and mail to the IRS.  If there is any way to prepare your amended return using the service used to do the original you would be spared some aggravation...
