I think all the Directors should be fired as its so ridiculous and backward that you cant move from desktop version to on-line version. I've used Turbotax for 16 years for rental properties, etc and I cannot re-type all the depreciation /etc. I think the need a new board that can take them to 21st century technology. I so wish I could switch to another company but its just too much data to re-type.
@DeborahIskandar I think you misunderstood what the original question in this thread was about. You cannot store a return prepared in desktop software in an online account. It is stored on your own hard drive or any back up device you used. You can transfer a previous year return to a new return from online to desktop or vice-versa so that you do not have to re-enter everything.
