Can I submit information on a job I had in 2020 that I forgot about when I had done my taxes in 2021?

I had forgotten about a small job I had for about a week in 2020. I still have the W-2 so should I go ahead and add that information to this years return?

You need to wait until your return is processed.

You can amend later if it still bothers you then.

IRS may add that W-2 for you anyway.

Meanwhile, don't make edits.

You CANNOT put 2020 income on a 2021 return ... you MUST amend the 2020 return.
