When you use online TurboTax, each return needs its own account and user ID. If you use the same account and same user ID for a second return, the second one overwrites the first one and the first one is lost forever. With online, you get ONE return per fee.
If you are looking in the wrong account, use the account recovery tool.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

If you overwrote the return you can get a free transcript from the IRS or pay the IRS $43 for an actual copy.
