Can i get my refund direct deposited into an account that is not in my name?

Most banks will not allow that. They are likely to refuse it and send it back.

This is what the IRS says about it:

"Your refund should only be deposited directly into accounts that are in your own name; your spouse’s name or both if it’s a joint account."
