Can i get my PTIN number if i had not fille my last year's tax return? I paid all my previous year's taxes except last year which is 2022)

A Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is a number issued by the IRS to paid tax return preparers.

 

Are you actually referring to the Identity Protection PIN sent to you each year by the IRS?

To complete and file a 2022 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2022 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

 

A 2022 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed using TurboTax.

FYI ... the 2024 IP PIN number that is issued in January of 2024 will be used on ALL tax returns filed in 2024 no matter what tax year it is for.
