No. NEVER mess with your accepted return until it has been fully processed by the IRS. And online tax prep is closed permanently for 2019 returns, so making any changes would entail downloading desktop software. If you made a mistake then wait for the return to be fully processed and amend if you need to after it has been processed.
SO THERE IS NO WAY TO ACCESS THE INFO I ALREADY ENTERED? I WANT TO SEE IF REMOVING A DEPENDANT WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME A LARGER RETURN BECASUE ADDING THEM I HAD TO PAY PTC OF $2956. I CANT REMEMBER WHAT MY REFUND WAS BEFORE I ADDED THE DEPENDANT... AND DONT WANT TO HAVE T0O START FROM THE BEGINING TO FIND OUT.
THE RETURN HAS BEEN FULLY PROCESSED BTW. I JUST AM AFRAID I MADE IT COST ME MORE BY ADDING HER.
Okay--you said "accepted" as if the return had not been processed yet. Now you say it has been fully processed. You still cannot mess around with it using online because online is closed. If you want to amend and see what happens when you make a change, use the amend process. Make sure you have saved the original return as a tax file and as a pdf before you amend. If you do not like the result you do not have to file the amended return.

The option to download the amendment program will be back in December when the 2020 program goes live ... if you can wait until then it will be easier.
