Can I get a pdf copy of my 1040 to give to Wells Fargo to purchase a house. I am having difficulty getting it. I am able to get the 1040x.

A 1040X *is* your tax return.   When you filed the 1040X it replaced the original return.   Just print all forms and worksheets and print the 1040X and 1040 for the bank.

I was finally able to get the 1040x  with 1040 behind it.   Thanks

Unless you saved the original return as a separate file, you overwrote it when you did the 1040X.
