No, you can not file your 2017 federal tax return with TurboTax.  TurboTax no longer sells or supports TurboTax products for 2017 and earlier tax years.

It is too late to receive a refund for a 2017 tax return.   Even if your return shows a refund, it was forfeited over a year ago.   If you owe tax due for 2017 the IRS still wants you to pay.   You can prepare a 2017 return on the paper forms and mail it.

If your 2017 tax return is not filed, regardless of the statute that has expired to receive a refund, the tax return will never expire for review by the IRS.  Until a tax return is filed, the statute of limitations does not expire.  It's important to file your tax return because under federal tax law, there is no statute of limitations period for assessing taxes when the taxpayer does not file a tax return.
