Can I e-file an amended return within TurboTax Online? I made the proper amendments but can't seem to submit the amended return.

No. The Form 1040X for 2025 is not yet available so that is not a possibility. And you cannot e-file a past year return. E-filing is permanently closed for 2024 or any earlier year. Your amended return must be filed by mail.

Use a mailing service like certified mail to track so you will know it was received since you will have a long wait.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.
