Can I do my 2017 and 2018 tax return together? ( I did not file 2017)

I did not do my taxes for 2017. Can I do 2018 and 2017 together? Thank you

No you cannot. Each tax year stands alone and must be completed on form for that tax year. If you are using TurboTax, you must use the 2017 program to file a 2017 tax return and the 2018 program to file a 2018 tax return. The 2017 tax return must be printed, signed and mailed. It cannot be efiled. You must include copies of W-2s and any other tax documents that had federal tax withheld. You should mail it using a tracking service to assure that you have a record that the IRS received it.

The 2018 tax return can be efiled after tax season opens in late January.
