Thanks for replying, however the instructions are for previous taxes filed with TurboTax. I don't have this previous file for 2019, as I filed elsewhere. I just need help with 1040x form and making sure all of my calculations are accurate. Is this possible?

Even though your original return was filed somewhere else, you can still amend it in TurboTax, however, you will need to recreate the original return exactly as it was filed as part of the process to amend it.

• Fill out a new return in TurboTax as if you were doing it for the first time and you should achieve the same results as your originally filed return. 
• Once it matches what you filed and the amounts are the same for every line on the 1040, tell TurboTax that you want to file by mail, and print out the original return so that TurboTax thinks the return was filed, then you can amend the return.
