Called today and they said I should have gotten the 5071C Letter to wait another 14 days. Can I call the number now to verify who I am or should I wait for the letter

I do not want to keeping waiting as it says it take another 9 weeks to get your refund. I want to call today but I do not want to mess it up if I need something off that letter.

It is always best to wait until the letter comes in case there is information on it like you said you will need. If the letter does not come in the 14 day window they gave you I would call and state that.
