It has been 4 months since I filed my paper return for 2019. Will the IRS ever get around to looking at the backlog of 2019 income tax returns that were filed by mail?

The IRS has started to process the approximately 10 million paper returns that were filed but were left unprocessed due to the pandemic and limited staffing.

We’re experiencing delays in processing paper tax returns due to limited staffing. If you already filed a paper return, we will process it in the order we received it.
Do not file a second tax return or contact the IRS about the status of your return.
They are making head way in the catch up effort ... others have posted their returns have been processed.
I went to the IRS link shown, and they recommend using the IRS2Go App. I used the App, entering SSN, filing status, and exact refund amount (as calculated on my TurboTax), and all I got was "information does not match". I don't know whether that means that they have not yet handled my return, or if the IRS is saying I have a different refund amount.
