Are school taxes not paid through turbo tax? I paid quite a bit to do my taxes through them to receive a notice that I have unpaid taxes due.

Are you asking about school taxes in Ohio? The school district tax can be prepared when you prepare your OH state tax return but you have to initiate the SD return within the state program. Your only proof that you paid your SD district tax is your own bank/credit card record.
