An alphabet missing in my dependent's first name.

After completing e-filing through turbo tax, today I found that there was an alphabet missing in my second son's  first name. He is James but marked Jams in the PDF file I downloaded. His last name and SSN is correct, and it was accepted by both federal  and state. I already got the state tax return. 

In my case, should I amend my tax return??

as long as the first four letters of the last name are correct, you will be ACCEPTED
