Amending taxes and need 1099-S to be sent to IRS

Hi,

I need to amend my taxes for a missing 1099-INT, but I noticed that when I originally filed, TurboTax did not share my home sale with the IRS (because TurboTax thinks I didn't have to report it). However, I would like to report it during this amend process because I did receive a 1099-S and the IRS states that I need to report it because I received it.

Is there a way I can force the 1099-S and related form to send during the amend? I can't figure out a way and there used to be according to previous community posts years ago.

I entered the 1099-S previously, but it just skips from including it because TurboTax thinks I don't need to report it...

Thank you.

You can file your amendment to include your 1099-INT without concern for the home sale previously reported.

The 1099-S is not actually an entry form, however you do enter the details of your sale from the form, which you did do on your original return according to your statements. The data was sent to the IRS even if you don't see it.  The information doesn't flow to any section of your tax return because you were eligible for the exclusion.
