Amending my 2024 tax return and I need to delete Part III line 20, $10,000 for a first time homebuyer. Amend process is not allowing me to delete. How do I delete this?

Can you clarify what form you are referring to? Was this a $10,000 withdrawal from an IRA that was used to purchase a home?

If so, please see the link at the bottom of "are there exceptions to the early distribution penalty on an IRA" to get to the input for the 1099-R form.
