Amended papers that have been sent are still in the status of "ready to mail"

I sent out my amended paper almost two weeks ago and the status still says "ready to mail" is this normal?

Yes, if you mail an amended tax return, it will not reflect in TurboTax, however it will appear in the IRS system.
