After you amend and make changes to your taxes how long will it take to receive your money

It is too soon to amend.  The Form 1040X is not yet available. It will be available around mid-February.  If you made mistake on your e-filed return you need to wait until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund.  Then you can prepare a 1040X to amend.  That form must be printed, signed and mailed.  It takes the IRS about 4 months to process an amended return.
