Can I apply for an advance from last year's taxes

When you go though the FILE tab right before you file, but....

The Advance doesn't come until after the IRS ACCEPTS your return. The IRS won't start accepting returns until late January (I think Jan 24). Until then the returns just wait on Turbo Tax servers for the IRS to open. So filing early won't make a difference.

What do you mean by "last year"? Do you mean 2021 or 2022? There is an advance refund loan for 2022 returns if you qualify. If you are getting the advance you get the money when your e-file is accepted by the IRS. The IRS will not begin to accept/reject returns until late January.
