Accidentally stated that someone else can claim me as dependent, but this is false. Since I already filed, how do I change this?

If your return gets rejected, you can go back in and change it. 

If your return gets accepted, you will need to amend your return. Instructions on how to amend your 2018 return will be available once the IRS releases the current form 1040X, and will be added to the link below:
