A live person at the IRS said she did not see any information on the tax return I filed in the first week of April. I wonder why since TurboTax says it's in progress?

What does your account say when you log in?  Accepted, Rejected, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.

Be sure you are using the actual Federal refund as listed on your tax return, not the combiend Federal+ State figure that TT gave you./

Yes I did efile and my Turbotax account says both my federal, and state refund are supposedly in progress.

If Turbo Tax says in progress it means you are still working on it and haven't filed yet.  Turbo Tax should say Accepted or Rejected or Printed.   Again what does this say?

Did you get any emails?  When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission and the second email says if it was Accepted or Rejected.  Did you get either of those?  Check your spam or junk folder. The Reject email says why it was rejected.
