5071 C Letter Received in Mail Today

I just received a 5071 C letter dated for 2-14-2022. So I verified my identity online through IRS.gov website successfully. I know this is a Identity verification, would I get another letter or will I just have to wait “up to 9 weeks) like the IRS stated.

I have no choice but to wait, however I wanted to know have anyone ever received their refund sooner than the “9 weeks” or dealt with further review (another correspondence letter) after successfully verifying their identity.

Exactly ! For future references this is a forum so helpful information would be necessary and expected. If you have nothing helpful to relay and I would suggest don’t reply at all. We’re all waiting and have no choice but to wait. When I post on here I’m looking for experiences, so I could match it up with mine. I know that each individual’s tax return are different. But I need assurance just like everyone else. Don’t reply back to my post please or I will report you.

I got the same thing, verified 2/14…. Tracker showing same message of a date will be provided when available. :(
