2021 South Carolina Tax Refund pending

I am writing to request confirmation regarding my 2021 federal and South Carolina state tax returns. Could you please verify if these were successfully submitted and accepted?

While I filed for an extension and have been expecting a refund, I have not yet received it. I contacted the SC Treasury and was informed they have no record of these tax returns. I have emails from Turbotax saying taxes were submitted that I can share with you

In the meantime, could you please clarify the status of this filing and provide guidance on the next steps I should take?

What do you mean you filed an Extension?   Did you ever finish filing the actual tax returns?   

When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.  And check your spam or junk  folder for them.

Did you use the Online version?   When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  What does it say for state?  I don’t know how far Turbo Tax goes back.
